Ryder is hiring a CDL A Regional Dry Van Driver in Springfield, OR. Ryder regional driver can anticipate quality home time with family and friends while usually being home through the week and/or on weekends or a combination of both. A regional truck driving job typically consists of moving freight within a region that encompasses the surrounding areas. Compensation:

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,500+
  • Miles Pay: 65 CPM with 1600 miles per week all miles paid
  • Stops Pay: $24.00 per stop with 12 stops per week
  • Per Diem Pay: $28.00 per night with 2-4 nights per week
  • Avg work week: 35-60 hours
• Bonuses
  • Sign on bonus: $2,000 - pays $1,000 at 30 days and $1,000 at 90 days
  • Unlimited driver referral bonuses
• Paid via direct deposit weekly

Home Time, Route & Schedule:

• Home Time: Home multiple days weekly, out 2-4 nights
• Route:  OR, WA, ID and MT
• Touch -Hardware Retail Deliveries
  • Driving in inclement weather and chaining required

Equipment:

• 24', 31', 40', 48' and 53' Dry Van
• Equipment: manual pallet jack and lift gate
• 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL A License
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
  • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Must have Hazmat - Within 90 Days of Hire
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
• Must live within 30 miles of Springfield, OR
