Position Summary

As a Content Marketing Specialist at Vanguard ID, you will drive our brands voice and digital presence. Reporting to the CEO, youll conceptualize and execute content marketing strategies that engage targeted audiences and convert prospects into customers. This creative and cross-functional role is perfect for a content marketer who is motivated to impact business outcomes, shape our storytelling, and manage content across our site, social media, and various campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Strategy & Creation
    • Collaborate with marketing and sales to develop compelling collateral, presentations, and digital assets.
    • Author product-focused content including case studies, customer success stories, and product articles.
    • Develop and maintain a content calendar, ensuring steady output of blog posts, social media, and promotional campaigns.
    • Write targeted web and email copy, knowledge base articles, and tailored messaging for specific audience segments and product lines.
    • Create visually engaging content, including graphics in partnership with our design/creative resources.
  • Digital Marketing Execution
    • Publish and optimize website content and landing pages for SEO alignment and conversion.
    • Plan, schedule, and manage blog articles, newsletters, and social media updates.
    • Support digital ad campaigns by supplying creative copy, ad assets, and A/B messaging.
    • Ensure brand consistency across all channels and assets.
  • Campaign & Community Engagement
    • Engage with customers and prospects through social platforms by highlighting client wins, new products, and timely industry topics.
    • Monitor, analyze, and report on content performance; recommend optimizations to maximize engagement and impact.
  • Market & Customer Research
    • Conduct research to identify audience personas, customer pain points, and emerging content topics.
    • Analyze competitor content strategies and suggest opportunities for differentiation.
    • Gather feedback to refine messaging and bolster overall conversion.
  • Collaboration & Support
    • Work closely with internal teamssales, design, and technicalto source content ideas, gather data, and help with cross-functional projects.
    • Assist with planning and execution of marketing initiatives, such as tradeshows or other industry events.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field preferred, or 12 years of content creation/marketing experience.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
  • Interest in digital marketing, content strategy, and business development.
  • Proficiency with content management systems (CMS), and knowledge of SEO and analytics tools a plus.
  • Organized, creative, and able to thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
