Paralegal

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to support legal operations for our Tier One Automotive Client. This role is ideal for someone early in their legal career who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about contracts, compliance, and intellectual property.

Details

Shift: Hybrid, 8:00-5:00

Location: Warren, MI

Compensation: $25-27/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and process legal documents including summonses, complaints, motions, subpoenas, and pretrial agreements under supervision.
• Conduct legal research and review journals to support proceedings.
• Assist attorneys with gathering records (employment, medical, etc.) and preparing court submissions.
• Attend legal meetings and depositions, taking detailed notes.
• Maintain law libraries, case files, and documentation.
• Coordinate and manage development and renewal of licensing agreements.
• Interface with legal staff and licensees to ensure compliance and timely delivery of intellectual property.
• Prepare monthly status presentations for leadership.
• Support project management and budget tracking for licensing initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies or equivalent training.
• 0–2 years of experience in a legal or contract-focused role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple contracts and tasks simultaneously.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
