Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a Principal Modeling & Simulations Engineer / Analyst with extensive experience in developing multi-fidelity closed-loop simulation capabilities for weapons, sensors, communications, directed energy, or Cyber systems, including electronic attack/protection. The candidate will work with a multi-location team primarily developing AFSIM models for integration into kill web simulations and producing analytical products on advanced technologies' performance impacts.

Essential functions include:

1. Providing modeling and simulation analysis for strategic mission communications, satellite, and radio navigation signals.
2. Modeling weapon system performance in real-world environments, analyzing sensor and weapon platforms, C4 systems, and decision processes.
3. Developing representations of Missile Defense System architecture elements.
4. Executing mission-level modeling using AFSIM.
5. Applying and evaluating advanced technologies across multiple domains.
6. Integrating system simulation tools, including hardware and communication technologies, into mission analysis.
7. Delivering metrics-based products, visualizations, and executive presentations.
8. Supporting special studies, including experimental efforts and data integration.
9. Providing excellent customer support and effective communication with all levels of leadership.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field and 12 years of related experience.
• Experience with classified and special access programs.
• Knowledge of modern architecture frameworks and systems engineering.
• Experience in R&D, technology maturation, analysis, and testing.
• Motivated, responsible, and capable of independent project ownership.
• Strong multi-tasking and communication skills.
• Ability to work in complex, deadline-driven environments and build relationships across teams.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• MS or PhD preferred, with 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in C++, Python, Matlab, C, on Windows and Linux.
• Experience with model integration from different coding languages, hypersonic concepts, and strategic missions.
• Familiarity with Electronic Warfare, ISR, TST, JADC2, and Missile Defense.

Security Clearance Level Required:

Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI; US Citizenship required.

Travel Requirement:

Approximately 25% travel within the US.
