We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable individual with expertise in social media. As a Social Media Intern for a small business, you will collaborate closely with the Director to develop and execute social media strategies. Your role will be crucial in helping us connect with our target audience by creating and sharing engaging and informative content about our company across various social media platforms.

This internship provides a hands-on opportunity for students passionate about content creation, social media marketing, and public relations. Ideal candidates will be studying Communications, Film, Photography, Editing, Marketing, Public Relations, or Digital Media.

Responsibilities and Duties

The duties and responsibilities of the Social Media Intern include:

• Assist in growing the brand by increasing awareness across multiple social media platforms.
• Develop and implement creative marketing ideas to promote our products and services.
• Create and manage weekly and monthly editorial calendars to showcase our brand on various social media channels.
• Engage with followers and potential customers by answering questions and interacting through our social media pages.
• Produce and share content, including blogs, infographics, videos, and press releases, across social media and traditional news outlets.
• Manage social media accounts, tracking engagement to identify successful campaigns for expansion.
• Support the team during live and online events.
• Participate in team meetings focused on product and content development.
