Temporary Admissions Processing Assistant (71151)

This position is within the Graduate Architecture, Landscape Architecture, and Urban Design department, supporting admissions during peak processing period. The role reports to the Associate Manager for Admissions and involves processing applications with high accuracy to meet deadlines. The fixed term is from January to May 2025, working 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9 am - 5 pm).

Responsibilities include:

1. Import and track applications via Slate system
2. Update and manage admissions database, generate reports
3. Monitor applicant statuses and follow up as needed
4. Verify degrees, transcripts, and eligibility criteria
5. Send decision letters
6. Communicate with prospective students
7. Assist with event and appointment coordination

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent
• At least 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in academia or cultural institutions
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets
• Experience with Airtable or similar tools
• Ability to maintain accuracy under pressure
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in higher education
• Experience with Slate system
• Experience communicating with international clients
