Anticipated Schedule This is a full-time position .
  • Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM, final schedule to be discussed during interview process
  • Some holidays are required

Compensation

  • Starting at $25/hr , commensurate with experience

Requirements

What You’ll Do


As an Oncology Veterinary Technician you’ll work closely with our board-certified oncologists to support patients throughout their treatment—from diagnosis through chemotherapy and follow-up. You’ll be a steady, compassionate presence for both patients and families.In this role, you will:

  • Administer medications and chemotherapy under the supervision of an oncologist
  • Assist with diagnostics, including lab work, imaging, and CT scans
  • Support oncology appointments and help manage patient flow and scheduling
  • Maintain accurate medical records , treatment notes, and drug logs
  • Provide empathetic client communication and education
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Radiology
  • Deliver emotional support and patient-centered care during every step of treatment

Who We Are Looking For 

  • Licensed or credentialed veterinary technician , Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS), or experienced veterinary assistant
  • Experience in specialty medicine and/or oncology preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Confidence working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Familiarity with veterinary medical software (e.g., EzyVet, SmartFlow) a plus
  • A positive attitude and commitment to compassionate care
